Deism has never sounded that fun to me. I mean, what's the point of believing in some sort of god if you don't think it's out doing crazy, unbelievable stuff? Why bother trying to have faith in something that boring?
I mean, I know you read about it in a book, but I skimmed the Wikipedia entry one time. I know what I'm talking about!

And thanks for the comment on my writing style. I like my writing style too! And yours. I guess this is weird, but you have a really adorable writing style. You know, like kitten-adorable. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you remind me of a technologically-advanced kitten who writes fun blog posts.
This is the best compliment ever!! Thanks!

Back when I was a practicing Jew, I was looking around at religions and I think my list looked pretty similar to yours (although I don't think I had heard about Ethical Culture or Science of Mind). Strangely enough, when I decided not to follow Judaism, I stopped looking around! I guess I considered myself somewhere between an atheist and an agnostic (as in an "I don't know but I doubt it" type thing).

That book about Dewey looks really adorable! Out of all the library jobs that I've had, that's never happened!
