What's your favorite scent?
Vanilla-like! Totally for sures. But not like a trashy vanilla. Not like Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar. A yummy vanilla. Buttercreamie. Like Yankee Candles buttercream candle, or Victoria's Secret Slice of Heaven. Guy and I went to Walgreens today and I seriously huffed a cupcake scented candle. I got a little buzz! Mmm. Vanillie.
What is your all time favorite board game?
Ah, the QotD. I missed you too. Without further ado, it's a tie: Trivial Pursuit, Whoonu, and Balderdash. Not the new Balderdash, but the original, where you made up definitions for words. That was so awesome. I'll never forget one of my sister's definitions: "a breed of horse used in water polo." Classic.
What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
Submitted by Megan.
I have been reading the answers to this question and let me just say: everyone on vox is jacked up. Everyone is like "live octopus!" and "crickets" and "(select random animal)'s genitals!" What is wrong with you people?!?! I am really gagging just thinking about these things!
I don't really eat really weird things, well not that are considered "food" anyway. And absolutely not squishy things, under any circumstances! Frozen corn (good! Sweet and cold and crunchy!). I do have some crazy picas though. I use to eat paper sometimes when I was younger (pulpy and gross). I like sand though! I would never eat it intentionally, but if I accidentally get a little sand in my mouth I am secretly happy. Shut up! It's so crunchy and gritty! It's like salt without the nasty saltity. The other day I got a piece of salmon served on a piece of cedar. You know what I did? I ate a bite of the wood! It was a tiny part, and I couldn't really taste it. I wanted to eat more but I was afraid of getting a splinter in my stomach!
I realize this answer has labeled me as totally crazy, but I do not even care, because I kind of am.

What are some of your favorite, forgotten albums that have stood the test of time?
Submitted by PeterGibbons.
Finally, a great question! Do they have to be forgotten? I don't think so.
These are my oldest favorites that have really stood the test of time. Whenever I hear them, I am still impressed by how good they are. Granted, none of them are that old (aside from Pink Moon), but then again they've been with me for all of my adult life.
Do you play any musical instruments?
In elementary school I played the flute, but I played an octave too high. I bought a bass, but my arms are too short to reach the furthest frets. I am, however, a tambourine virtuoso. Seriously. I bring the house down.
Check it out! It's got 14 jangle bits, and a hand grip. Very deluxe. It has quite a range too. From jangly to super-ultra-mega jangly. I'm going to write a song called "While My Tambourine Gently Giggles."
Do you like surprises?
Well, it depends if it's a good surprise or a bad surprise. Also, I am very easily startled. In this way, I am like a bunny! When the phone rings at work, sometimes I gasp or jump. Any loud, sudden noises freak me out! But I always enjoy a pleasant, quiet, slow moving surprise!
How many pets have you owned in your lifetime? Tell us about them.

- Pandora, cat. Before I was born, my parents had her. She got jealous when I came along, and she tried to kill me in my sleep, so my parents gave her to a friend.
- The Beebs, a.k.a. Scraps, cat. We got her when I was 4 and she is still with us! That was over 18 years ago. She is old and she yells a lot.
- TFK and ...
- Pepsi, goldfish. We won them in plastic bags from a carnival, and they lived to be about seven years old.
- Charcoal, cat. I don't think Charcoal was really ours, but he stayed at our house a lot!
- Perky, parakeet. We got him about 12 years ago and he is still with us.
- Jazz, parakeet. Perky's girlfriend.
- Merlin, parakeet. Jazz and Perky's baby.
- Baby, parakeet. Another of Jazz and Perky's kids.
- Cosmo, cat. He was the neighbors cat, but one day we found him with a torn up ear. We asked them if they were going to take him to the vet, and they said no. So we told them that we were going to, and after that he would be ours. When we took him to the vet, they diagnosed him with feline leukemia. He was a true sweetie cat!
- Tripod, turtle (tortoise?). We found him in the country. He was missing a leg, and he was bleeding, so we took him home and patched him up!
- Sumo, frog.
- Sydney, cat. After Cosmo died, we got Sydney. At first he blended in with the carpet and my dad alomost accidentally squished him! That was about seven years ago!
- Emily, cat. We found her under a bush in the front yard. Sydney was trying to pick a fight with her, because she was in HIS yard. She was little! She is two years old.
- Spartacus, hamster. He was really my sister's hamster, but he was one cool guy.
- Maya, hamster. Again, my sister's, but she was my friend too!
- Bandida and ...
- Chiquillo, gerbils! These are my little cuties! They are crazy!
- Sir Bravery, Esq., cat. Jeff and I found Sir Bravery Esq. on a neighbor's porch, crying. We asked if they knew him, and they said no. I tried to take of care of him, but he died the next day.
- Over the years, we've had hundreds of fish, frogs, and newts. Right now I would estimate we have 100 fish and one frog!
What a great excuse this was to post pictures and blab about my pets!
What TV show(s) will you be watching this season? Why?
Submitted by ducnly.vox.com.
*checks the tivo* Grey's Anatomy, the end of Project Runway, Gilmore Girls, Meerkat Manor, Mythbusters, My Name is Earl, The Office, and I'm pretty pumped about Ugly Betty. Why? Because they are awesome in their own ways. Except for Gilmore Girls. Honestly, I didn't even like it last season. But I'm six seasons into it. I have to see if they can turn it around and make it as good as it was. Doubtful.
edit: I forgot The Colbert Report! What was I thinking?
